moist opening
blinking uncontrollably at the searing sun rays as it peeks out, the creature, only as long as two fingers, pushes its way past the defense lines of the membrane. wriggling intensively, it frees itself from the moist, tight yet snug cave. dripping with lubricant, it seems satisfied. it slithers away into the outside world.
a baby snake is born.
