and so it all ends
though not a fairytale
it was beautiful nonetheless
not the finished product
but the process
we never got our hands there
never got to continue where we started
but what a fright to see three of us
pushing past their defense lines
alas
we re-enacted their previous year
just better looking
it mattered, yes
but we stood tall in the face of adversity
we were cracked
but we never crumbled
that crack will help us grow
and with that
we seek to ring the bell once more
and for most of us
it'll literally ring this time
may it ring for we
because we do believe
one more time
