today, our senior minister cum cross national champion elliot eu departs from sg to further his studies in aussieland.

cross national champions dun come from acsi as often as we'd like. the last was probably nigel wong, but that was ages ago. crowned acsi's second ever cross nat champ, acx's very own elliot eu showed the rest of the student body that we are a force to contend with, or at least, start to let them consider us flukes. chao ang moh has been an integral part of the 04 history making team, be it in the runs, the races, the bonding and certainly the fun. suprising even us, he went on to win a convincing individual victory, beating who many saw as the unbeatable. on the scoreboard, people say that we could still have trashed the competition without elliot, but i beg to differ. the jigsaw will never be complete without anyone. be it the runners, the ones screaming at the sidelines or bongard. we are all the pieces of this well earned success. elliot was just a piece with more description. we are not a team of six runners, nor are we a team of 20 over people. we are one team. one heart.

with the departure of a champion, there must be a rise, if we are to show the world that we are not a team of chance. the first step has been laid out. how will we respond?
